Christian Park Softball
Opening day is this Saturday, April 24, for Christian Park Little League.
What does that mean for everyone? There will be a team parade, food, games, and lots of fun. Teams will decorate trucks, cars, or floats and cruse around the neighborhood. Players need to be at the park at 8:00 a.m. to start decorating their floats.
When they get back from touring the neighborhood, the teams will meet on the main baseball field for introductions. After the introductions there will be games and food for all ages. Meanwhile, the Minor and Major teams will be playing each other. (See your coach for times and fields.) Everyone is welcome to join in the open day celebrations.
After the parade there will a short meeting to cover Jr. & Sr. practice times and locations and what I except from players, parents, and fans. Please plan on attending this meeting. I will call everyone and remind them of this event.
